"content": "
Dear Kaggle Support Team / Competition Organizers,
\n
I am participating in the \"NeurIPS - Ariel Data Challenge 2025\" and am encountering significant issues when trying to download the competition data.
\n
I am consistently receiving a \"429 Client Error: Too Many Requests\" error message. An example of the error I see is similar to: 429 Client Error: Too Many Requests for url: https://www.kaggle.com/api/v1/competitions/data/download/ariel-data-challenge-2025/train%2F3849793%2FFGS1_calibration_0%2Fflat.parquet.
\n
Despite my efforts, I have only been able to download approximately 312 out of 13,200 files since yesterday. This is making it very difficult to progress with the challenge.
\n
I am using the Kaggle CLI for downloading the data \"kaggle competitions download -c ariel-data-challenge-2025\". I have already implemented measures in my download script to mitigate this, including:
\n

Using fixed sleep between requests.\n\nImplementing adaptive sleep strategy, where delay increases upon encountering error, up maximum ( minutes).\n

\n
Even with these precautions, the \"Too Many Requests\" error persists, and the download process is extremely slow and frequently interrupted.
\n
Could you please provide some guidance on this issue? Are there specific rate limits for data downloads in this competition that I should be aware of? Any advice or alternative methods to more efficiently download the large dataset would be greatly appreciated.
\n
Thank you for your time and assistance.
\n
Best regards,
\n
Thierry NOVO
",
