"content": "
I had an overall Kaggle ranking of 189 until this evening. I am suddenly #181 and when I checked my total points, it has increased by 885. I have had the same ranking and number of points since they certified the inclusive image competition which is my last one before this one.
\n\n
My question is if anyone else have noticed a similar thing. I have seen point increase in the top-5 i.e. from @bestfitting to @raddar. The only thing I can think of is that calculation of my points for the RSNA and the TGS competition is a little higher than what was awarded but I thought may be I got it wrong. I am not sure if anyone in the top-5 have completed a competition in the last few days but I doubt it because the increase in points are small for some. For example @bestfitting up 614, @KaZAnova up 309 points etc.
\n\n
Please leave a comment with your observations.
\n\n
UPDATE:
\n\n
I am adding the link posted by @inversion that answered my questions below:\nhttps://www.kaggle.com/general/72875
",

I do not understand how the progression algorithm arrived at that number. Can you please look into this and let me know? Thanks.
",
