I jointed kaggle 2 years ago and I had taken part in some competitions before, yet I didn’t spend much time on them. This competitions is the one that I spent the most time than any other competitions I had participated, so I have a great hope on it.
\nWe have done our best and try everything we could to get a higher rank on LB in the last few weaks of this comp. Until 1 hour before the deadline, we got our best public LB score 0.53, which is closed to the bronze medal zone. There’s nothing I can do in the last 1 hour, except waiting and praying.
\nBut fortunately, the final ranking shakes up about 36:) I finally got to the bronze medal zone！😆 It’s totally worthy spending so much time, I was even thinking about the solution at the Lunar New Year’s Eve.
\nIt is not easy for me and my teammate @hrlmmm to accomplish this comp, since we are both student and not as experienced as you guys, we are not so good at coding or processing image. The characteristics of mammography image dataset(i.e. extremely imbalanced) makes it even harder. We didn’t get a score higher than 0.05 for a really long period of time. We almost give up because it’s so hard, but after taking a break, we decide to proceed, and luckly we did:) Perseverance is the key to success！
\nI also learn many things from the discussion, which gives me many inspirations. Thanks to all of you who shares your ideal in discussion！you guys make this comp easier to rookies like me. Thanks again！
