              "content": "<p>I believe PyDicom with GDCM can open all Train and public test images. The image you listed above displays normally with K-PACS (a downloadable DICOM viewer). </p>\n<p>I think VTK makes use of GDCM at some level.</p>",

          "content": "<p>I think it would be a good idea to try to load all dicoms with <code>pydicom</code>, and note all dicoms which can't be opened. After that either you can exclude them at all, or you can inspect them with <code>vtk</code>, and exclude only broken ones.</p>",
