  "content": "<p>Recently I have compiled a long list of rare x-ray datasets (<a href=\"https://www.kaggle.com/raddar/datasets\" target=\"_blank\">https://www.kaggle.com/raddar/datasets</a> ). </p>\n<p>One stands out in particular - nodule/mass dataset from Japan (JSRT):<br>\n<a href=\"https://www.kaggle.com/raddar/nodules-in-chest-xrays-jsrt\" target=\"_blank\">https://www.kaggle.com/raddar/nodules-in-chest-xrays-jsrt</a></p>\n<p>It is based on a paper <a href=\"https://www.ajronline.org/doi/10.2214/ajr.174.1.1740071\" target=\"_blank\">https://www.ajronline.org/doi/10.2214/ajr.174.1.1740071</a> -<br>\nvery interesting study with 20 radiologists with different degrees of experience. </p>\n<p>I personally use this dataset as a holdout when training nodule detection models.</p>",
